The Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology aims to provide a bridge between the latest Technology in 21st century and the student’s eagerness to acquire the knowledge. Computer engineering allows professionals to engage in a number of areas such as analyzing and designing the things from simple microprocessors to highly featured circuits, software design, and operating system development. Engineers of this faculty are responsible for designing, developing, implementing and testing computer-based hardware and software, including the components that are found inside computer equipment, as well as the actual devices that contain the computers and the software that runs on those machines. They may also design networks that connect computer systems, and work on integrating software programs with computer hardware. Career in IT and CE is considered one of the most high-paying jobs and is full of opportunities; particularly when India’s prowess in information technology industry is recognized across the globe.

We have 15 mbps lease line for Internet Lab, with 60 computer systems and central UPS system which is full time available for students for their project and research works.
All Computer Labs are connected with centralized server system capable for 500 computer nodes.
Basic Computer Lab
Here students will have basic knowledge about computer Hardware and also learns to starts with computer programming and Data Structures.
Operating System Lab
This lab complements the Computer Operating Systems course. Students will gain practical experience with Operating System programming, system call interface of operating systems. Students will learn how to write concurrent programs application development.
A database management system lab help student learn about how to manage Database structure, controls access to data and structuring queries. In this lab students learn SQL, designed for the retrieval and RDBMS. Students also learn database schema creation and modification, and database object access control management. Lab contains all the required software packages: SQL server-2005 &2008, MySQL to formulate ER Models
Database Design Lab
This course teaches students the basic principles of object orientation and Object Oriented analysis and design. We will use the Unified Process and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as tools. This is very important aspect of the software development.
Dot Net Lab
Dot NET is a world-shattering advance in programming technology platform that greatly simplifies rich internet web application development. With this lab student will Gain an understanding of the Microsoft .NET architecture. Attain a detailed working knowledge of C#, VB .NET, ASP .Net and ADO.NET. Students will also learn to create a WPF WCF, LINQ, AJAX and Silverlight application
The Overall aspect of the Information Security Laboratory enables security assessment and penetration testing of wire line and wireless networks. Workstations in the lab run the Backtrack Linux distribution which regroups hundreds of utilities for information gathering, network mapping, password cracking, privilege escalation, and digital forensics, including Wire shark, a versatile packet sniffer, and ettercap, a suite for man-in-the-middle attacks.
Computer Networking Lab
Management and business perspectives on network design, estimation of traffic demand and application requirements, network cost analysis, topological design, capacity assignment, graph theory and optimization based design algorithms, virtual network design, network design tools
Computer Graphics Lab
Students will learn interactive graphics programming, Graphics APIs, display hardware, graphics processing pipeline (geometry processing, rasterization, texture mapping, etc.) geometric modeling, image formats, color theories, 2-D, 3-D Transformation
Data Mining Lab
The Knowledge Management & Data Mining Laboratory has been established for the development of Data mining and Knowledge management applications. Students can make use of the facilities in the laboratory to do their researches and projects.
Software Engineering Lab
This course focuses on experience in designing and developing large-scale software systems. Students will generate concrete software engineering artifacts at all stages of the software life-cycle. Design principles and methods for large-scale software system development; design and modeling tools.
Java and Advance Java Lab
Students will learn to effectively use the Java SDK environment to create, debug and run Java programs and to understand fundamentals of object-oriented programming in java, including defining classes, invoking methods, using class libraries, JDBC, Servlets, Java Beans, Java Server Pages, RMI
